Portfolio categories display

    I have this categories.
    Category A.
    sub1A
    sub2A.
    Category B.
    Sub1B
    sub2B
    Category C.

    So I’ve tested different ways to display the categories on my portfolio whether all of them or just the main ones but all I get in the filter is.

    Category A.
    Category B. but not category C.

    Can you explain how can I do this?
