Portfolio Images not loading

Hello,

I have tried to set up my portfolio in many different ways following different advice on this forum, however when I navigate to the portfolio page I always get a “broken link image” instead of my file and, when clicked, the message “The requested content cannot be loaded.” I have set my image as the featured image, as a item in portfolio gallery, and as an inserted image in content area. Any guidance? The instructions in the documentation for the gallery feature are pretty vague so if you have better instructions that may resolve my issue.
