Portfolio masonry layout not responding

Hey
I am trying to setup the masonry tiles portfolio.
1. Tiles are not “placed” correctly; I have 1 column items under a 2 column wide item, and instead of placing them right under, the theme creates a space of 1 and places it under.
2. When I change in the theme settings from masonry to any other type of view, it is not changing.
3. I have filter enabled but will not be sowned as well
